Claire Trevitt (she/her)

Claire has provided psychological services in a variety of clinical and organisational settings for nearly 20 years. She is an experienced and empathic therapist with a particular interest in early development and the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. An approved counsellor with Victims Services, Claire has extensive experience assisting individuals who have experienced significant and complex trauma, including sexual assault, domestic violence and physical and/or emotional abuse. She also has an interest in working with the LGBTQI community in Sydney, having spent time at ACON as an individual and group therapist.
Claire’s philosophy is to provide each of her clients with a comprehensive and holistic service by building a caring and supportive relationship and empowering individual growth. She aims to address underlying problems through increased understanding and clarity of the issues at hand, seeking to not only to address the presenting problems, but also to provide her clients with skills, coping strategies and preventative techniques so they feel more equipped to deal with life’s challenges.
Claire is an Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and provides individual and group supervision to provisional psychologists who are working towards psychologist registration with AHPRA. Claire takes an integrated approach to treatment, drawing on a range of modalities to best suit individual needs. She has completed training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Nutritional Psychology.
Kirsten (Kirsty) Vidler
Kirsty has been a Registered Psychologist for 14 years, and during this time she has worked in a variety of clinical and research settings. She has experience working with a diverse range of clients, with a particular interest in clients who are experiencing substance abuse issues, depression and anxiety.
Kirsty has a warm and empathic approach; taking time to engage with each client and to understand their issues and challenges. She works collaboratively to develop therapy goals, and tailors therapy to meet individual client’s needs. She draws on a range of evidence-based treatments in therapy, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She equips clients with practical skills, tools and coping strategies to make positive changes in their lives.
Kirsty is an authorised supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and provides supervision to provisional psychologists completing their internships to become general psychologists. She also has experience providing clinical supervision to psychologists, counsellors and other health professionals.
Kim Eisler
B.S.W; M.A. Psych; Assoc MAPS
Kim has 20 years experience working with individuals and families in a range of settings. She has worked extensively with individuals with mental illness, particularly young people with co-morbid drug and alcohol issues. As an experienced family counselor Kim has a comprehensive knowledge of child development, parenting and mother craft concerns. She has a comprehensive understanding of post-natal depression and developed various educational and support groups for parents. She is an experienced diagnostician, conducting regular assessments and formulating clinical case plans.
Kim provides therapy and counselling for individuals and families. She is also involved in the development of a number of group programs to assist children build their social and personal skills. Kim is both a group supervisor and principal supervisor for a number of interns who are gaining their registration as psychologists.
Kim considers it essential to treat individuals in a holistic manner with a view to understanding the cause of problems rather than simply addressing their symptoms. She is committed to providing individuals with knowledge and strategies so that they have the skills to maintain their mental health and continue their personal development. Kim is happy to use a range of therapeutic interventions and include complimentary treatments to improve client health. Kim continues her ongoing professional training and development.
