What is Individual Therapy?

We can assist with a wide range of presenting issues. These may include:

· Feeling sad, flat or depressed
· Relationship and/or family problems
· Stress, worry and anxiety
· Addictions (substances or activities)
· Recovery from traumatic events
· Grief and loss
· Low self-esteem
· Social isolation
· Searching for meaning or purpose in life
· Unresolved issues connected to earlier life experiences

We take a holistic approach to treatment, considering the whole person, rather than just the presenting symptoms. We seek to understand the underlying causes of particular problems, as well as looking at possible solutions to address or manage these.

We believe that many of the issues people struggle with are often normal and valid responses to current and past life stressors and experiences, rather than there being something wrong with your thoughts or emotions.[/column]
