Therapy That Meets You Where You Are
It’s not always easy to explain what’s going on inside. You might feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure why things feel so hard. Maybe you’re managing day to day but know something deeper needs attention. Therapy offers a space to gently explore what’s beneath the surface — not by pushing through, but by making room for what’s already there.
This is a space to slow down, get curious, and begin to understand your experience in a new way.
An Integrated Approach to Healing
The work draws on psychodynamic therapy to explore how past experiences and early relationships may be shaping the way you relate to yourself and others today. Unconscious patterns often emerge in ways that are hard to spot — therapy helps bring them into awareness with care and curiosity.
Somatic therapy adds another layer of insight, helping you tune into your body’s cues and responses. This might look like noticing where tension lives in your body, when you feel the urge to shut down, or what sensations arise when something feels too much. These physical signals often hold pieces of the story that words alone can’t tell.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is available as part of the process for those who are working through distressing or unresolved memories. EMDR supports the brain’s natural ability to process difficult experiences so they no longer feel as intrusive or charged.
Together, these modalities offer different entry points for healing — each one helping you connect with your thoughts, emotions, and body in a way that feels grounded and manageable.
What You Can Expect
This is not a one-size-fits-all process. Sessions are shaped around what feels most relevant and helpful for you. Whether you’re seeking support for recent challenges, longstanding patterns, or something you can’t yet name, therapy offers a space to explore at your own pace.
You don’t need to have the language for what you’re experiencing. You just need to show up — from there, we’ll begin to make sense of things together.
